Report from CHI 2009, April 4-9, Boston, USA
The HCS Lab of the University of Amsterdam had a paper accepted at the
workshop on Mobile User Experience Research at the SIGCHI Conference on
Human factors in computer systems (CHI’09) in Boston, USA with the title
"Interaction with autonomous, mobile agents in a hazard monitoring
context". The paper presented details about a user study that we are
currently running investigating the effect of social system behavior on
user behavior and trust in the interaction with semi-autonomous,
context-aware mobile systems.
CHI generally provided a very good basis for getting an overview of
(mobile) human-computer interaction, introducing the Diadem project to
the HCI community, and provided various valuable opportunities for
networking.
